By accessing or using GroCal ('the Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

GroCal is a meal-planning application that uses AI to analyse your groceries and generate weekly meal plans. Features include barcode and receipt scanning, nutritional tracking, and recipe suggestions.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service -- including attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or otherwise disrupt GroCal. You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Nutritional information disclaimer

Meal plans and nutritional data generated by GroCal are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet.

6. Intellectual property

All content, branding, and software comprising GroCal is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you upload or create (meal logs, grocery scans, etc.). By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to process and store that data solely to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GroCal is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
